The team at Quarem is another story. If you read our blog regularly, you may feel like you know us. Our fearless leader, John Rice, never shies away from a new opportunity, idea, or challenge, and loves to meet new people and make lasting connections. He is the founder of Quarem, and the visionary force behind the brand. You may have heard him speak at one of the ITRA Global Conferences at some point in the last eight years, or chatted with him on the exhibitor floor at one of the CoreNet Global Summits. John has spent the majority of his professional life working in the commercial real estate industry and is passionate about sharing his wealth of knowledge with others. He has found the Quarem blog to be a great outlet to interact with the CRE community, and has posted engaging and educational articles such as What is Lease Administration, and Technology Starter Kit For Mid-Sized Companies. When he’s not tirelessly working to improve the software or excitedly working with clients, you will most likely find him in the kitchen whipping up a delicious new recipe.
Whether you need attentive support and training with the software, a helpful project partner, or even an excellent soccer coach, our COO, Guy Gray, is your go to jack-of-all-trades. Guy keeps our internal operations running smoothly and is the first friendly contact you work with when you become a new client. He is our program lead for client relationships, ensures that our solutions are properly implemented, and strives to keep our training and support efforts at an exceptional level.
Our Director of Client Services & Lease Administration, Angie Siders, takes organization and time management to a whole new level. This supermom of five wonderful kiddos is a master at the art of multitasking, which she has used to completely transform our approach to lease abstracting and client support. Angie is the queen of color coding and project task tracking – seriously, you should see the whiteboards in her office! She is a positive light in every team meeting, and is a fiercely dedicated, hardworking, sharp, and creative member of Quarem.
Hot glue gun sales skyrocketed in Houston the day Meredith Beasley, VP of Marketing and Communications, joined our team. She has taken her love for DIY and successfully applied it to her work on the many events that we attend and sponsor, like the CREW Houston Golf Tournament each spring. In addition to events, Meredith is the creative force for developing and executing strategy in the areas of digital marketing, web & graphic design, and brand representation.
Of course, our software development team is the glue that holds Quarem together. The team is led by seasoned Quarem veteran, Maju Jacob, who has carefully crafted our software for the past 10 years. He is an extremely talented software engineer that is dedicated to fine tuning the software, while also identifying new ways to improve and expand the user experience.
Maju is supported by an amazing team of developers that meet each new task with excitement and expertise. His team leaders, Meghana Manyam – Implementation Manager, and Shantan Kothapalli – Full Stack Developer, work around the clock to ensure that our software is performing at its best, and that our clients our receiving attentive care and support.
Meghana is best known around the office for her enthusiasm. This trait is present in all aspects of her work and life. Her constant drive to expand her knowledge and skillsets is reflected in her involvement in many important processes within Quarem, ranging from special client projects to lease abstracting. Shantan is the muscle behind the software. He possesses an extensive understanding of software development that is supported by his strong work ethic. This combination is the power behind the software, and Chick-fil-A is the fuel that powers Shantan.
Our Local Involvement
Over the past few years, we have made it our goal to “love local,” and become more involved in the Houston CRE community. John and Meredith are proud members of CoreNet Global, and attend as many local CoreNet Houston events as possible. In fact, Quarem sponsored a hole at their golf tournament in December, and even took home the prize for most patriotic theme! Additionally, we have had the pleasure of sponsoring a hole at the CREW Houston Golf Classic for the past two years.
Outside of local CRE organizations, we have extended our attendance to events hosted by the Houston Business Journal, The Franchise Show, and many other professional organizations.

John will be joining the members of ITRA Global once again as a speaker at their conference in Washington D.C., October 18-19.
