Commercial real estate professionals love maximizing their time. If you could multitask in a way that is both enjoyable and benefits your business, why wouldn’t you? While forums and blogs are a great way to source information from top industry minds, podcasts may arguably offer a more modern and convenient way to obtain this knowledge.

Most of all, though, they allow CRE pros to multitask. Podcasts are perfect for commutes, gym time and lunch breaks. So, where should you get started? Here are six commercial real estate podcasts you should be following, if you aren’t already:

  1. The Commercial Real Estate Show

Also known as the CRE Show and America’s Commercial Real Estate Show, this podcast is hosted by industry leader Michael Bull and has been around for almost 10 years now. Several high-profile guests join Michael each week during his podcast and you can expect to learn an incredible amount of valuable information from lead economists, analysts, firm leaders and C-level executives. There are blogs and videos associated with the podcast as well to further satiate your thirst for information..

  1. The Real Estate Guys

A CRE podcast that focuses on investors, this program has been around since it was on the radio in 1997. It’s hosted by professional real estate investor Robert Helms and financial strategist Russel Gray. Both give you entertaining, fast-paced advice on investing in CRE. If you’re looking to get the most bang for your buck with podcast time, this might be the best option for you.

  1. BiggerPockets

One of the most popular products in the industry (and on several best CRE podcast lists), BiggerPockets is hosted by Joshua Dorkin and Brandon Turner. These hosts cover several real-life stories that have practical tips CRE pros can learn from and use in their day-to-day life. Everything from investment choices to tax advice is covered and they have a great blog that complements their podcast as well.

  1. The Real Estate Innovators

Best classified as a commercial real estate technology show, The Real Estate Innovators podcast highlights the people and organizations that are changing the industry through inspiring tech innovations. Each week, host Ryan Cox explores innovation from all corners of the industry, from marketing solutions to 3D modeling. This podcast is a great way to keep up with industry trends and discover technology that can help you shape your business.

  1. Commercial Real Estate Online

Ideal for brokers and agents, this podcast is hosted by John Highman, an international commercial real estate coach, author and convention speaker. One appealing feature of this podcast is that John gets to the point quickly and podcasts typically aren’t any longer than they need to be (10-35 minutes). He also puts a lot of time in e-books, courses and other forms of educational CRE content.

  1. Real Estate for Breakfast

Perhaps the best podcast option for your morning commute or breakfast, this commercial real estate podcast mixes business and legal topics and features a rotating panel of interested and engaging guests from different CRE industries and roles. While there’s a heavy Chicago-based CRE slant, the insights and subject matter can help any commercial real estate professional tackle current real estate issues, problems and developments.
